Broken wheat rava dosa, a healthy South Indian breakfast, whenever we want to try different dosa or breakfast this one is a good choice. I usually make this dosa, when i dont have dosa batter. Its soft and chewy in texture. Broken wheat rava is available in 3 sizes, i usually use big or medium size for preparing this dosa. It goes well with all kind of chutney. 


INGREDIENTS

  1. Broken wheat rava- 2 cup
  2. Tomato- 2 no:
  3. Green chilly- 1
  4. Ginger- 1 piece
  5. Coriander leaves- few chopped
  6. Curry leaves- few chopped
  7. Onion- 1 small size(optional) 
  8. Salt- As required

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Measure 2 cup of broken wheat rava.

  • Clean the rava and use seive for draining water. Soak them about an hour.

  • Grind  by adding tomato, green chilly, ginger, salt and some water.

  • To this batter ,add chopped coriader, curry leaves and onion. If required add salt.

  • Make dosas by adding gingelly oil or ghee. 
                                             
  • Tasty and healthy dosas are ready. Serve it hot with chutney.

TIPS

  • If u dont like biting coriader and curry leaves, grind them with other ingredients and make the batter.
